PricewaterhouseCoopers Norway: lawbreaking, abuse, threats and false testimonies behind the PwC logo

PricewaterhouseCoopers Norway used the threat of termination to force a member of staff to not whistleblow to, and withdraw any previous whistleblowing to, Norwegian public authorities, the Labor Inspection Authority and Data Protection Authority.

PricewaterhouseCoopers Norway trainee lawyers Ole Jakob Raa and Linn Katrin Hansen repeatedly presented false testimony (lied) in a workplace abuse inquiry. The false testimony was revealed by a crystal clear speech recording.

PricewaterhouseCoopers Norway National HR Director Kristin Hesla Halvorsen used the threat of potentially taking formal disciplinary action in order to discourage a member of staff from speaking with the company safety representative (‘verneombud’). This was captured in a speech recording.

PricewaterhouseCoopers Norway lawyer, director and Board member of the law firm Cecilie Pande Dramstad Aas the same day produced misleading documentation giving the impression that the previous threat never took place.

PricewaterhouseCoopers Norway national head of investigation and compliance, auditor and lawyer Gunnar Holm Ringen, also incorrectly affirmed that no such threat ever took place.

A collective of trainee PwC Norway lawyers cheated in an organised way on a legally mandated exam required to practice law.

This is a small part of the events that took place. Coverage is in progress, both journalistic and in book form. Google Translate may be used on the Norwegian pages until that point, http://www.pwcsaken.no
